Sarah is obviously a more wholesome kind of girl than Adam is used to but he doesn't tone down his alpha male sexiness or his jealous hotness & Sarah is shocked by their sexual chemistry, and also the love that eventually develops. "These drugs are good. I just dreamed that you said you love me."

I loved this story. I know it was a short one that is my only downside to it. I wish they had more! I loved Adam and loved how he was so set in his ways until he met Sarah and her daughter. Adam fell hard and didn't even realize it until it was too late. Sarah was falling but trying not to because she had to protect herself and her daughter from another broken heart. I loved how you made Sarah's daughter such a spit fire the things that came out of her mouth were funny. Adam was convenienced this was a one and done until he was done then he didn't know what he wanted until he saw someone else looking then he had to claim her. When tradgey struck Adam finally admitted to himself. Another success!!!
I LOVE KRISTEN PROBY'S BOOKS SO MUCH!  This was a fantastic little novella about Adam Spencer, manager of The Odyssey and Sarah Cox, a social worker with a little girl named Hailey.  Adam is a playboy; he loves women of all shapes and sizes, but he never expected one to hold his heart.  Sarah is a single mother, who he meets one morning when her car breaks down. 
Part of the reason I love Kristen's books so much is that her characters are everyday people.  They have normal everyday jobs and it is appealing to read about a couple that could be us or our friends.  This novella, even though it was short, made me feel connected to the characters.  I was drawn in quickly and before I knew it, I had read the whole thing!  This was a great "quick afternoon read"!

I really liked this little side story to Kristen's Boudreaux Series! The hero is partner and best friend to Callie from Easy Melody. Adam has a laid back attitude and a wicked sense of humor. He is the typical hot bartender guy but with a few more responsibilities. Deep down he is a good guy but has no time for a committed relationship.

He happens upon Sarah, in need of a little help. And while he's at it, her daughter wiggles her way into his heart. Sarah has some baggage herself and may not be ready to leap to a relationship anytime soon. She tries to protect her heart. Adam isn't ready to give her up just yet and will do anything to continue to see her again.

Loved the chemistry and the back and forth between these two. There is a bit of suspense in the story which spices things up a bit. Proby excels at writing fabulous family sagas. Easy for Keeps is a novella but continues the story forward in the series. Looking forward to more in the Big Easy!
I never get tired of reading Kristen Proby’s work. It is so easy to fall in love with her characters and it doesn’t take long at all. This book is about Adam co-owner of The Odyssey. I loved him in Easy Melody, so I was excited to see he was getting his own novella. I really enjoyed watching Adam go from na easy-going bachelor who never planned on settling down to a man head over heels in love with a single mother and her daughter. I absolutely adored Sarah. She’s such a strong, wonderful woman. After what she went through with her husband and what she goes through with her job, it would be easy for her to just be an emotional mess, but she isn’t. I love how sassy she was too. She wasn’t always that nice to Adam in the beginning, but I could kind of understand why.

I also loved Hailey, Sarah’s daughter. She’s absolutely adorable and so quickly gets Adam wrapped around her finger. Watching Adam and Hailey together was so sweet. And watching the three of them become a family was even better.

I love this series and this novella fits right in. It’s steamy and sweet and absolutely perfect. I am a sucker for Kristen Proby’s books. I cannot wait for the next one!
Author Kristen Proby offers up another smart, sexy and charming book in her 1001 Dark Nights Boudreaux novella, Easy for Keeps. At first I was a little put off by the heroine, but after learning her history it was easy to see that she was one tough, capable and self sufficient woman and she felt a man in her life wasn't a necessity. So big surprise when a sexy Good Samaritan turns this single mom's head. I loved their banter, their wickedly sexy times and everything in between.

New to New Orleans and her job Sarah Cox finds herself in a bind and must rely on Adam Spencer one morning to get her and her young daughter out of a bind. A little over three years since her husband died, Sarah is surprised to find she's attracted to Adam, but Adam has no problems letting his interest be known and to top it off he is instantly enthralled by her 5 year old daughter.

I loved the chemistry that surrounded these two almost immediately despite Sarah trying to deny it or not believing that Adam could be interested in her. Adam was a joy; I loved that he could be cool, calm and charming one minute and go all growly alpha man the next, but even then he was so charismatic. I always appreciate when couples can communicate easily from the start and can share their backgrounds, their hopes, fears and wishes with one another. The ease at which the accepted each other fully made their quick and intense romance easy to believe.

A bit of suspense, a whole lot of sexy good times and quite a few sweet moments made Easy for Keeps very easy to love.
