Robin is an incredible world builder. I love how it’s not the same story with a different named ghost each time. Robin has such a great way of expanding her worlds and introducing new elements into her world as she goes. A little bit here and a little bit there. You can really see them taking shape in your mind and it’s believable. During this story there were some interesting developments for Clare and Zach as a couple and individually. Robin also revealed some really interesting things about the seer world and some other characters that will hopefully show up again and we will learn more about them.

No two ghosts are the same and their circumstances aren’t the same either. Clare’s next case is a little different than her others. Not only are there two ghosts to be dealt with and help cross over but one is a modern ghost out of Clare’s time period. I liked watching Clare and Zach work together to figure out who the modern ghost was and how to help him cross over. Zach was really back in his element throughout this story which was exciting to see. Both Clare and Zach seemed to really come into themselves by the end of the story both in their vocations and in their personal life.

I love watching Clare and Zach navigate their relationship. There is so much balance between them. They have flaws but they can see past them and love each other anyway. They help each other both in their personal life and professional. I want to say that they are an example of a perfect couple but they both have flaws and everyone has a opinion. What they do have going for them is their open communications, supporting each other and helping each other. It’s so rare to find that in life and few authors seem to find it for their character’s as well. It’s in the small details I think. I always like getting to see both sides of their relationship during the story. I like seeing their inner thoughts, their reasoning’s and struggles. It definitely helps me to relate to them and love them even more.

There are some little tidbits that showed up throughout the story that made me want to ask Robin a million questions about them but all would be spoilers for future books I am sure.

I love reading at night in bed to relax myself. I love stories that include ghosts. This series is so interesting.
Oh, I -like- Clare and Zach. Wonderful story and excellent characterizations. I had wondered how Ms. Owens would continue with Clare's and Zach's lives after the major events in Ghost Killer. She did a great job!
Another wonderful ghost seer story. Clare is growing into her vocation and learning to embrace it. She becoming secure in herself. Jack is accepting Clare love and accepting his life as it is now.
I definitely enjoyed the newest chapter in Robin's Ghost series. This one was a bit lighter than the previous story, and the ghost Claire was called on to help was most likable. The overall storyline was well thought out. I do enjoy the fact we are able to witness the development of Claire and Zach's relationship over several books. A good addition to the series!
I have all but the last story of Ms Owens books. They have always been enjoyable. This story can stand alone, but, if you have read the others of this series you can see the growth of the characters. More pieces of information comes up for Clare to learn. Zack is learning to trust himself also. They help a few ghosts get home, rescue a few people from a scam artist and get help from a ghost, then they can help him. Took a star away because it wasn't a book. I will buy the next book also.
This is a really well-thought-out series, the characters are very strong. I love watching the development of Zack and Clare’s romance. Both of them have grown not only in their love for each other but there are acceptance of their new careers.The spirit dog, Enzo, is awesome, I love his interactions with them. All of the books in the series are ‘keepers’, and I can’t wait to start the next one! I hope she continues this series, there are so many legends out there!

At the end of each book she gives information on where she found her resources and what’s true and what’s not. Makes me want to go visit some of these places!
Book four of Robin D. Owens' Ghost Seer series keeps on giving. Clare and Zach and Enzo work to send off a poltergeist and to "move on" a ghost from the late 1800s. Characters are brought to life in this age/time as well as in the past. Dialogue makes sense as do Clare and Zach -- each looking to acclimatize to drastic changes in their lives. How it was handled was pitch perfect without ridiculous enthusiasm -- instead tempered with caution and angst and some resentment. Along with this is the careful blossoming of love -- not a desperate and dependent love but one with maturity and real life awareness. So in reading this I not only had the pleasure of ghosts but the delight in experiencing an author's view of a person's growth through tough times. Not a surprise because I am a complete fan of Robin D. Ownens' "Celta Heartmate" series. A joy to read.
